The usual first tour day hassles - getting gear loaded, finalizing laminates It was good to see and hear kids talking about THE RIVER and the signing APRIL 16th BRADFORD RIO The ‘Rio’ is not normally a good gig for us and last time we were here
it was almost empty ! But things have, and are changing quickly. APRIL 17th REHILL HARLEQUIN There were about 275-300 for the show tonight and some under ages who couldn’t get in. It was heaving and again we had a great gig. We’re playing to new fans who all seem to know La Ultima Hora and The River as a given. Interesting times. A massive 4-0 victory tonight with Danny and Pedro scoring a couple each !! This is how to spend a Sunday – sod the roast !
A heaving, hot, sweaty pit of a place is the forum. But hey we’re here
and we rocked. Another 130 + all moshing, going mad and living the BREED
experience – we’re starting to think that something might even happen
with this single now – which is out tomorrow !! Get yourselves down to
the stores and buy, buy, buy !! Expect our label to be in contact this
week with some more free logo downloads. APRIL 19th LEICESTER CHARLOTTE “The River” was released today and we managed to pop into a few stores along the way to Leicester – good to see our CD actually racked out in HMV and Virgin. Feels like the real thing and we are pumped for tonight. Leicester is not a place we normally expect a crowd and certainly not on a Monday nite – but as is par for this tour there is another 130 + in for tonight’s show and they loved it. A stomping 3-0 victory – expecting an early sales chart position tomorrow morning from the label – no chance of sleep tonight ! APRIL 20th BIRMINGHAM ACADEMY 2 I SCREAMED this morning – Alberts called to tell us that THE RIVER is
a new entry at number 37 in the UK chart – as of today we are the 37th
best selling record in the UK - You guys rock – THANKS TO YOU ALL !!!!!!
- now let’s keep it in there. This is only the beginning. Onwards to Peterborough....... |
